Tom founded 4th Floor Creative in April 2015 after nine years working in collegiate athletics at the University of Cincinnati. A broadcaster by trade, Gelehrter also serves as the “Voice of FC Cincinnati,” handling play-by-play duties since the club’s first match broadcast in 2016. During his time with the Bearcats, he served as the Senior Director of New Media and Broadcasting, building the department’s multimedia sector from scratch upon his arrival in 2006. In addition to his broadcast duties with FC Cincinnati and responsibilities with 4th Floor, Gelehrter has called college football and basketball for Fox Sports Ohio and ESPN. An avid sports fan and Cleveland, Ohio native, Gelehrter currently resides in Pleasant Ridge with his wife, Marissa, and two sons, Sawyer and Sullivan.
Marc started at 4th Floor Creative in January 2016. As Vice President, he oversees and manages all aspects of production and business operations. Marc became close with founder Tom Gelehrter, as a student intern for Bearcats TV from 2012-2014. Upon graduating from University of Cincinnati in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Electronic Media, Marc worked in video production in Los Angeles for National Picture Show before moving on to become Head of Video Production at Tennessee Tech University. Marc is a 9-time Emmy award winning director and loves all aspects of storytelling. If our content made you laugh, smile, or cry, he believes we have done our job. Marc was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, and currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Olivia and golden retriever, Feller. In his free time, Marc likes to golf and spend time with friends and family.
Kirk joined the 4th Floor Creative Staff in November of 2021. As Senior Producer, he is tasked with coordinating, developing, and managing all aspects of production from ideation to delivery. Kirk is an award-winning producer and proud member of the Big Blue Nation, as a graduate from the University of Kentucky. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in Media Arts & Studies, and moved to Milwaukee where he worked at the local FOX affiliate as a photojournalist. When his alma mater came calling, he found himself back in the bluegrass state, where for five years he produced content for the University of Kentucky Athletic Department. On Sundays in the fall, Kirk can be seen on the sidelines in Cincinnati and beyond shooting for NFL Films, the production company of the National Football League. Born and raised in Sleepy Hollow, Illinois, he currently resides in Northern Kentucky with his wife, Amanda, their two kids, Audrey and Milo, and dog Luna.
Peyton is a passionate, award-winning videographer originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He recently graduated in December 2022 from Ball State University, with a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, specializing in Digital Sports Production from the nationally ranked Sports Link program. Peyton spent his first two years in higher education doing play-by-play work for ESPN3 and ESPN+. This background helped him find his love for storytelling and passion behind the camera. He spent his final two years for the Cardinal and White working for Ball State Women’s Basketball and Ball State Football as a videographer, graphic designer, and social media content creator. Whether it's a thrilling game, an inspiring athlete profile, or a behind-the-scenes documentary, Peyton strives to bring the energy and excitement of sports to life through his lens. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, taking his 2-year old Yellow Labrador Retriever on walks, and exploring Cincinnati with his fiancé, Hunter.
Krista Schauder, an accomplished videographer, and editor based in Cincinnati, OH, brings a unique creative vision to life through the power of visual storytelling. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Krista's journey in the world of videography began to unfold during her time at Kutztown University. With a degree in hand, Krista pursued her passion of storytelling from behind the lens. She began her journey at Villanova University as a Video Production Intern in Athletics and then made her move to Cincinnati, OH where she acquired a position with the Cincinnati Bengals as a Production Assistant for the 2021 Season. This ultimately led her to her full-time role at 4th Floor Creative. With every project she undertakes, Krista combines her technical expertise, unique eye, and passion to create visual masterpieces that resonate with her audience. Her talent and dedication continue to solidify her place as a respected producer/editor. Beyond her work, Krista finds joy in working out, being social, traveling, and spending peaceful time with her two feline fur babies – Frey-Frey and Nala.
Benin Rubayita is a videographer/editor whose passion for storytelling and visual creativity knows no bounds. Benin's journey into the world of video production began with a love for watching movies, where he found inspiration in the art of storytelling through film. His foray into content creation commenced on Vine, where he honed his skills in crafting engaging short-form videos. Transitioning seamlessly to YouTube, Benin's talent and dedication flourished as he explored the vast landscape of digital media. However, his journey took a transformative turn when he realized his ability to not only create captivating content for himself but also to empower others in harnessing the power of video as a medium for expression and communication. Benin enjoys playing basketball, creating Tiktoks, and watching movies in his spare time.
Connor arrived at 4th Floor Creative in May of 2018 as an intern before transitioning into a full-time role as a Content Producer. In his current position, Connor has a hand in all aspects of production, ranging from conceptualization, filming, and editing, along with a specialization in audio engineering. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2018 with a BFA in Electronic Media, along with Minors in Sports Administration and Political Science.
Throughout college, he worked seasonally as an audio/video board operator for game day production with the Cincinnati Bearcats, Toledo Mud Hens, and Toledo Walleye. Connor was born and raised in Perrysburg, OH and currently resides in Downtown Cincinnati. In his free time, Connor enjoys going to the movies, playing piano, and researching the Cincinnati Subway.
Cameron is a videographer/editor from Indianapolis. He recently graduated from Ball State University in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications concentrating in sports media in top ranked media program in the nation Sports Link. While at Ball State Cameron also worked for three years with the football team as a student creative where he traveled with the team capturing and creating content all season. Cameron found his love for storytelling at Ball State where he was able to capture moments and emotions of student athletes from every sport on campus. His experience at Ball State was filled with great experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. In his free time, Cameron likes to be outside and active as much as possible playing golf or exploring the city.
Todd joined 4th Floor in August of 2022. As the Sales Account Manager, he develops relationships with current and potential new clients. Todd is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a major in sports Management. Since his graduation, Todd has excelled in various sales roles in the sports and staffing industry. A native Cincinnatian, Todd enjoys Skyline Chili, local breweries, and rooting on the Reds and Bengals. He currently resides in Pleasant ridge with his wife, Mary, and son, Frankie.
Brett grew up in West Chester, Ohio. His photography career began when he joined the school paper as a freshman at the University of Cincinnati. By his junior year, he was the contract photographer for the athletic departments at both U.C. and Miami University (Ohio). In 1998, Brett began freelancing for Sports Illustrated and over the last 20 years has traveled the world as both a lighting tech and photographer. Brett met Tom Gelehrter in 2008 while working at UC. Seven years later, Gelehrter pitched the idea of 4th Floor Creative to Brett and he loved it, joining as a partner. Brett lives in Liberty Township with his wife, Jessica, their three kids and two dogs. Brett’s hobby has jokingly become collecting hobbies. As someone always wanting to learn about and try new things – there are several that he loves – but anything that gets him in the great outdoors would be his favorites.
